A Prayer for Health & Healing

Heavenly Father,

I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. I believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, and that He is my Healer.

I believe that your Word is true, and that I am healed according to 1 Peter 2:24. I attend to your words for they are life unto me and health to all my flesh. You sent your Word and healed me and delivered me from my destructions. You satisfy my mouth with good so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

I believe that Jesus Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. You forgive all my iniquities; you heal all of my diseases; you redeemed my life from destruction and crowned me with lovingkindness and tender mercies. I am redeemed from the curse of sickness and I refuse to tolerate its symptoms.

Satan, I resist you in the name of Jesus. Now flee! Stop your attack against my body. You are bound from operating against me in any way. I am loosed from your assignment by the blood of Jesus. Sickness, disease and pain, you are not the will of God for me and I resist you in the name of Jesus.

Lord, you are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. I thank you that no evil shall befall me, neither shall any plague come near my dwelling. You did not give me a spirit of fear, but you gave me a spirit of power, of love, and of a sound mind. I cried unto you and you healed me. You took sickness away from the midst of me. Now, I receive the power of God to make me sound, whole, delivered, saved and healed. Lord I praise you for your goodness. I sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving and declare your works with rejoicing.

In Jesus’ Name I pray,

Amen

Scriptures to Take Like Medicine

My son, pay attention to my words; listen closely to my sayings. Don’t lose sight of them; keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to one’s whole body. (Proverbs 4:20-22, CSB)

He forgives all your iniquity; he heals all your diseases. (Psalm 103:3, CSB)

I will not die, but I will live and proclaim what the Lord has done. (Psalm 118:17, CSB)

Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole. (Isaiah 53:4-5, AMPC)

For the Lord says to the house of Israel: Seek me and live! (Amos 5:4, CSB)

Now when he heard this, he said, “It is not those who are well who need a doctor, but those who are sick. …For I am the Lord who heals you. (Matthew 9:12 & Exodus 15:26, CSB)

Now Jesus began to go all over Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. (Matthew 4:23, CSB)

Then he touched their eyes, saying, “Let it be done for you according to your faith.” (Matthew 9:29, CSB)

Then great multitudes came to Him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others; and they laid them down at Jesus’ feet, and He healed them. So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel. (Matthew 15:30-31, NKJV)

Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’? Everything is possible for the one who believes.” (Mark 9:23, CSB

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” (Mark 10:27, NKJV)

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. (Mark 11:23-24, NKJV)

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. (1 John 5:14-15, NKJV)

And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death. (Revelations 12:11, AMP)

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14, KJV)

14 We have courage in God’s presence, because we are sure that he hears us if we ask him for anything that is according to his will. 15 He hears us whenever we ask him; and since we know this is true, we know also that he gives us what we ask from him. (1 John 5:14-15, GNT)

God is Love

He is hesed-agape

Healing of a Woman with a Hemorrhage (Issue of Blood)

Matthew 9:20-22; Mark 5:25-34; Luke 8:43-48

Matthew 9:20-22 (KJV) Mark 5:25-34 (KJV) Luke 8:43-48 (KJV)
20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, 25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, 43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
27 When she had heard of Jesus,
came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: came in the press behind, and touched his garment. 44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment:
21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. 28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
29 And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
22 But Jesus turned him about, 30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? 45 And Jesus said, Who touched me?
31 And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
and when he saw her, 32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.
33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. 47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. 34 And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague. 48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
And the woman was made whole from that hour.

King James Version (KJV)

Matthew 9:20-22 (AMP) Mark 5:25-34 (AMP) Luke 8:43-48 (AMP)
20 Then a woman who had suffered from a hemorrhage for twelve years 25 A woman [in the crowd] had [suffered from] a hemorrhage for twelve years, 43 And a woman who had [suffered from] a hemorrhage for twelve years
26 and had endured much [suffering] at the hands of many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was not helped at all, but instead had become worse. [and had spent all her money on physicians], and could not be healed by anyone,
27 She had heard [reports] about Jesus,
came up behind Him and touched the [tassel] fringe of His outer robe; and she came up behind Him in the crowd and touched His outer robe. 44 came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His outer robe,
21 for she had been saying to herself, “If I only touch His outer robe, I will be healed.” 28 For she thought, “If I just touch His clothing, I will get well.”
29 Immediately her flow of blood was dried up; and she felt in her body [and knew without any doubt] that she was healed of her suffering. and immediately her bleeding stopped.
30 Immediately Jesus, recognizing in Himself that power had gone out from Him, turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched My clothes?” 45 Jesus said, “Who touched Me?”
31 His disciples said to Him, “You see the crowd pressing in around You [from all sides], and You ask, ‘Who touched Me?’” While they all were denying it, Peter [and those who were with him] said, “Master, the people are crowding and pushing against You!”
46 But Jesus said, “Someone did touch Me, because I was aware that power [to heal] had gone out of Me.”
22 But Jesus turning and seeing her 32 Still He kept looking around to see the woman who had done it.
33 And the woman, though she was afraid and trembling, aware of what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. 47 When the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came up trembling and fell down before Him. She declared in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed.
said, “Take courage, daughter; your [personal trust and confident] faith [in Me] has made you well.” 34 Then He said to her, “Daughter, your faith [your personal trust and confidence in Me] has restored you to health; go in peace and be [permanently] healed from your suffering.” 48 He said to her, “Daughter, your faith [your personal trust and confidence in Me] has made you well. Go in peace (untroubled, undisturbed well-being).”
And at once the woman was [completely] healed.

In The Beginning

Genesis 1:26-28 (KJV)

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
